For Clients
If you need help from the Cornerstone Food Bank, please let us know. We really care about our community and we understand that everyone go through tough times. We treat all of our clients with dignity, respect and discretion.
How it works
We distribute food boxes monthly, usually on the third Saturday of the month.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis we have been asking our clients to complete a food request form during the week before the distribution. We fill the order and pack it in boxes that our clients pick up according to a predetermined schedule.
This allows us to minimize close contact and helps to keep everyone safe.
So if you need some help getting to the end of the month, let us know by clicking the button below. We’ll get back in touch with you quickly to arrange the details.
For Donors & Volunteers
Every month the Cornerstone Food Bank helps many needy families in the Lennoxville and Sherbrooke areas.
We accept donations of food and household necessities as well as financial donations! Contact us to coordinate for drop-offs.
Financial gifts to the food bank are eligible for receipts for tax purposes, so you can feel good about helping those in need and at the same time, improve your tax situation.
There are two easy ways to make financial donations to the food bank.
- Send an Interac e-transfer from your bank account directly to ours. send your donation to deposit@hcclennoxville.ca (no need for a security question) and be sure to add a note that it is for the food bank.
- If you prefer to give by credit card you can do that through our secure online donation platform embedded below. (We pay processing fees of 2.3% for credit card transactions, so if you’re able, we encourage you to use the e-transfer method, as there are no fees.)
(Tax receipts are issued in February of the year following the donation.)
If you would like to volunteer your time on the Saturdays that the food bank is open we’d be happy to consider your involvement! Drop us a line in the contact form.
The Cornerstone Food Bank is located in the centre of Lennoxville in the basement of 104 Queen Street.
