This Sunday at HCC

Sunday Morning Services!

We’re so glad to have the opportunity to meet in person again, all the while continuing to live stream for those who aren’t ready or able to join us just yet! This Sunday Kevin and his team will be leading us in worship and Hudson will be speaking to us from the word.

Join Us In Person

If you would like to attend in person we’re allowing 50 people to join us in the upstairs auditorium and another 50 people seated more casually at tables in the basement watching the live feed from upstairs. (We’ve got an exciting plan to improve the basement hall experience that will be coming in August.)

The basement is a great place to bring younger children who might not like to sit still upstairs. Bring along your coffee and their colouring book and crayons for a casual Sunday Service with your church family. To join in person either upstairs or downstairs you need to reserve your place. Reserve your place

Places remaining upstairs: 29 Places remaining downstairs: 36 (As of Thursday at 4:30pm.)

COVID-19 Concerns and Instructions

You’re already experienced with anti COVID-19 measures: staying home if you have symptoms, maintaining a distance of 2 metres from those around you, using hand sanitizer as you enter, following arrows as you move around. Those measures are also in place here at HCC when we are meeting in person.

We also request that people in the same household sit together to optimize our seating.

If you reserve a seat upstairs, we ask that you use the front entrance from Queen Street. If you reserve a seat downstairs, please enter from the parking lot.

Masks

As you’ve probably heard, Quebec regulations will be requiring masks or face coverings inside public spaces as of Saturday, July 18th. This means that we will be requiring all those attending who are 13 and older to wear a mask or face covering for the duration of the service. If you arrive without a mask we will have disposable masks available however we would like to encourage you to bring your own.

Join Us Online

We’ll continue to livestream our services on YouTube. We encourage you to subscribe to our channel and click the bell so that you don’t miss our videos when we go “Live”. We’ll start streaming between 10:15 and 10:30 on Sunday morning and we will do our best to finish by 11:30. Watch on YouTube

HCC Tithes & Offerings

How To Give – Four Main Ways
1. Online

The most convenient way is for you to do your giving online using a Visa or Mastercard credit (or debit) card. Here’s a short YouTube video explaining how our online giving platform works.

Give online here

2. Mailbox outside church office door

If you happen to come into Lennoxville and would like to drop off your offering envelope at the church, use the metal mailbox beside the office door. We check this mailbox regularly, but only go to the bank once a week, so don’t worry if your cheque isn’t deposited immediately.

3. Offering Box

Now that we’re meeting in person again you can drop your offering envelope in the offering boxes inside the auditorium as we’ve done in the past.

4. Mail

If you prefer, you can send your offering cheques to us by mail. Make your cheque out to HCC and send it to: Hope Community Church 102 Queen St. Sherbrooke, QC J1M 1J6

Please do not send cash by mail. If you would like to give to the church but you only use cash please use the offering box or mailbox drop-off option.

As the world is at a standstill, nature continues. Shyira is a sector in the Nyabihu District of Northern Province of Rwanda that has been one of the hardest-hit areas of the recent flooding and landslides that led to a loss of 75 lives, 3000 hectares of planted farmland, 124 road sections, and 64 bridges.
